Snowstorm

from Walks by Welwing

about

One of the first tracks I ever finished. Vocals are mine. After a few more experiments with vocals, I largely gave up singing because I wasn’t comfortable with my lyrics or singing.

lyrics

I tried to give up that winter, but it did pull
On bridges and highways and at the toll
A list of symptoms over which to mull
I kept in the breath until I was full

It’s a ways to go, you know
We’d better leave now before it starts to snow
My pocket and my hand are yours to warm
I assume you’re prepared for the storm
For the storm

(Ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh)

Tend to give up in winter, but it does pull
On bridges and highways and at the toll
A list of reasons over which to mull
I kept in the breath until I was full

It’s a ways to go, you know
You’d better leave before it starts to snow
My pocket and my hand, they are mine alone
I hope that you’re prepared for the storm
For the storm
